The hotel's decoration was absolutely delightful, filled with vintage charm and beautiful period features. The general areas were cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing and socializing. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with well-maintained ramps and wide corridors, making it easy for me to navigate with my walking stick.
I would have loved to see more assistance available for senior people during our stay. The children working there were friendly, but having someone specifically designated to help us with our luggage or provide extra support would have made our vacation even more enjoyable.

We had a fantastic stay at Oak House in Rye. The house is beautiful, cozy, and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed and the sitting room was perfect for relaxing. The location is ideal for exploring the historic part of town and there's plenty of parking nearby. The bedrooms were comfortable and full of charming period features. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would definitely return.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

Oak House Villa in Rye is a beautiful and charming historic house. the kitchen is well equipped and the sitting room is cosy and comfortable. the location is ideal for exploring the historic part of the town. the bedrooms have lovely period features and the beds are comfortable. it was a wonderful stay with plenty of character and charm. Cons: None 😊.

As longer term business travelers, we enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen and cozy sitting room in Oak House. The location is perfect for exploring the historic area. Comfortable beds and charming bedrooms added to the overall experience.
Felt completely safe and had no reason to complain.
